Endoscopic repair of facture medial wall and floor of the orbite

Step 1
The uncinate is identified and resected. Approximately 3 to 4 mm of uncinate is left intact superiorly to prevent frontal recess stenosis. This exposed the natural ostium of the maxillary sinus and an antrostomy is performed in a posterior and inferior direction. with reduction of the floor by 455degree forceps

Step 2
The ethmoidal bulla is then entered medially and resected to expose the lamina papyracea defect.

Step 3
The orbital implant (silastic sheath) is then cut to the appropriate shape and size to cover the orbital floor and lamina papyracea defect .Also supparting the floor by foly's catheter.
